Slow Down!

So, when a film is created such as Superman we see and create it, as close to reality as we think is should be. But how do we know what the correct definition is of reality towards an action pack fantasy. Shouldn’t the possibilities be endless? And when did there become so many rules and limitations for how this can be perceived. Wasn’t the whole point of any kind of media in that sense meant to distort reality? Ok so obviously they need to blend seamlessly in but come on, this is why we are here to create the impossible!

Superman iconic or arbitrary: Iconic because everyone knows Superman, slick black hair, chiseled jaw, an unnecessary cape and of course that legendary superman outfit. But why wouldn't he be arbitrary, he is everything that every normal human being isn't? He is an abstract symbol turned into an iconic state that now seems to be apart of our normal lives.
